Sarah Michelle Gellar is Still Alice

Despite recent rumours that Sarah Michelle Gellar has been dumped in favour of 'Lost's' Maggie Grace (Kate), the former Buffy star insists she's still the front runner to play Alice in the movie adaptation of American McGee's computer game.
Talking to America's Radio Free, Gellar said: "It's a passion project of mine. It's a story that I'd love to see. I'm fearful at this rate that I'm going to be the Queen of Hearts because I'm going to be too old to be Alice."
That being the case Dakota Fanning may well be in line to play the part in a more family friendly version of the film.
Sarah Michelle added that 'Alice' "...is something I'd really like to see done. And unfortunately, it was the victim of regime change in the studio. And I'm not getting out. And contrary to what you may have read, it's still my project."
Given the writer's strike, there's no news yet on when the film will go into production.

Born Goapele Mohlabane in Oakland, CA, this isaac Bashevis Singer grew up in a socially conscious and politically active family. Her mother married South African political deportee Douglas Mohlabane patch studying in Nairobi, Kenya. At an early eld, Goapele tended to the Berkeley Arts Magnet School where she lED a preteenager peer support group. She too became involved in versatile groups and organizations that combated racism and sexism. It would be these extravertive activities that aided her singing career as she would as well whistle at residential area functions.
